I decided to buy directv for the house because you've never met a bigger football family than mine. My sons are both in their teens now and they spent so much time watching sports on TV and they constantly had to leave our house and go to their friends houses because we didn't have the right channels. I didn't like not knowing where they were at all times I decided to get the channels at our house and now it's where everyone hangs out on the weekends. We are actually going to have a really big Super Bowlparty in a few weeks and I can’t wait to show off all the new décor we’ve had installed in the house. I love that there are so many people here we have so much in common with and some of the friends we’ve met have become some of the closest of our lives. When we moved here a few years ago I wondered how we’d all fit in but now I know it was for the best.

I really wanted to go so freaking bad to a nice white sand beach away from cold weather here in our place right now! How i wish we can just pack up and go but that's so impossible this time of the yea r though! But my mind is in somewhere beachey out there! LOL.

These was taken during our Philippine vacation last 2010 in one of tourist destination beaches in my hometown, missing the white sand and sunny weather right now! Urghh.

Busy busy me!

It's been a long day for me today had to fed 14 people in the office at lunch. I started my day really early, preparing for everything. Did four menus, which they all love. I'm so relieved, lol! Thought I couldn't finish it before the clock strikes 12 but anyhow, things went well, even I was surprised. The husband said I did a great job! On a second note, gotta check out where to get some medical step stool medical step stool. The granny needs the one with handrail, so getting around the house will be much easier. Looking for it online though because it's more cheap and more options to see. After this am done for tonight. Until now I feel like exhausted from this morning's task.

A special kind of rock that my husband have for years now, not sure where he got this though never thought of asking him until now, haha! Anyway, did you notice of something? what did you see? you think you can guess it? lol. Well, for me it's a shape of a whale look at the tail and body... cool isn't it! A promise ring

Ring is a perfect gifts to give to your special someone in your special day. Since our 6th wedding anniversary is fast approaching I'll be hypocrite to my self if i say i won't want a diamond eternity band or a promise ring from the husband. Ever since i am fond of jewelries specially rings and earrings all i asked to him right now in our coming anniversary is to have this style of ring in my finger, lol. I thought this is the most elegant style you can ever have. Love the cut of it and everything. Most definitely i love the white gold, it's always classic! He mentioned me that he just gonna surprise me he already knows the size, haha.

He once a stray

Yes he once a stray dog just roaming around from one place to another till she took him and take good care of him as her own doggy. A husband's client who lives alone and loves animal adopted this adorable dog. He reminds me of our 2 most adorable and loving dogs we ever had that we used to have his name is Morgan and Douglas sadly they both passed away D 6years ago and M 4years ago because of unexpected illnesses :-( he is the combination of the two. I can't help to missing our dogs that i hastily grabbed my cam to take a great snap shots in him! I love the way he posed just perfect angle for a handsome dog!

I love finding good deals online. I drool over bargains and overstock items. I hunt them from various sources which enables me to grab the goodies I want in much lesser prices. So imagine my awe when I heard about Nomorerack. The moment I bumped into their website, I was like it this possibly true? Holding back my excitement, I did a little research about it. Because of the possibly biggest discounts this online shopping site has to offer, people would probably think of something like nomorerack scam or it's just too good to be true. I love these shots! More great pictures while on the river cruising. I enjoyed watching how the people living near the rivers banks, their way of transportation as you can see is a Bangka or mini boat. I'm impressed how they do that sure they have a very good balanced alright! haha.

Since we can't avoid spending for stuff we need, places we visit, or services we acquire, I think it would be good to be rewarded after all. can you guess what this is?? Wanna share the story behind this amazing photo! Well, i was bored that day and all i can think of is my photography i really want to go out and take pictures but the weather didn't cooperate it was very windy and cold that day! I was peeking outside trying to see the wet outside... in a nice perfect timing i saw something on a bird bath and looking closely i got this amazing melting ice tower so i hastily grab my cam and jumped out the door with out any jacket on and take some nice shots of it! Isn't it gorgeous?

Allergic

Glad I'm not! Yeah, am not the sensitive type. Can eat anything and face anything without the fear of getting allergies. But my sister does. She has allergic rhinitis, asthma, and sensitive skin. She's been dealing with it pretty good since her childhood years though. From what I know, allergies don't have a cure, only prevention. So this link about airborne allergy treatment austin is a good read for my sister and those people who have some sort of allergies. It tackles about food allergies and those airborne related. There are certain substances that triggers it, would help a lot if you know what is it and when it'll attack. My aunt too is allergic with seafood. Her frustration

While browsing a huge selection of music stands I found online, by the way I must say it's really affordable over here, I remember my sister's lifelong frustration, that is learning to play an instrument. It was piano before but right now she's drooling over guitar and the beautiful melody it creates while strumming the cords written in the music sheet at the music stand. Music doesn't run in my blood, I have no calling for that but I'll give her my full support. Though I don't have an idea how she'll do it, or if she can, LOL! But I learned we have a guitar in my uncle's house, most of my relatives are frustrated musicians actually. Maybe with the help of video tutorials, hard-work and strong determination, they could help each other out and turn their frustrations into reality. It will be so nice hearing them play music, maybe someday.

Maybe you have seen them either on television or in the store, but havent actually seen them in actual action. LED lighting is one of the greatest things to ever happen to the lighting industry. The fact is, whether or not you have seen them or not these amzing bulbs are revolutionizing the way we see and it is something that has been progressively been mounting for half a century.
An LED (light emitting diode) is a specially designed bulb that was first created in 1962 when designers were building a display panel and needed an efficient and effective alternative to incandescent bulbs. What they created was all that and so much more.

Now you are seeing LED lighting in nearly every setting from replacement bulbs for your home or business to airport runway lights. With the invention of the super bright LED the sky is now the limit.One of the primary benefits is durability, and because it is not made using the filament technology they have incredible life spans compared to other lighting technology. For example, the incandescent bulb has reportedly been able to last approximately 750 hours. This amounts to about a month strait of running. The compact fluorescent bulb is capable of lasting much longer with over a year of continued use, or about 10,000 hours. LED lighting on the other hands can last a breathtaking amount of time with an average of 100,000 hours or just about eleven and a half years.

When you first see LED lights in the store many people are put off by the price. This is largely due to the fact that it costs on average about $20 for just one single bulb. The average incandescent bulb only cost about $1.99 a piece. Even thought the initial numbers can be intimidating when you are considering replacing all of your interior with LED lighting but when you really look at the numbers it is not as bad as it first seems. Consider the lifespan of each of these bulbs. If you were to buy the incandescent bulbs you would need to have the same amount possible to last what just one LED bulb can you would have to spend over $250. This is a huge difference in cost.

LED lighting is finding its way into just about ever kind of lighting technology out there and as it does it is profoundly changing things; including LED Christmas Lights! Already you are finding people who are saving regularly with energy expenses and replacement costs.

I really go out and take pictures! I've missed it lately because of busy schedules one reason why i have nothing to post here but have to do some updates! Anyway, lately i am thinking of upgrading my camera to the next level i love the higher resolution and plenty of settings to choose from well am not good in detailing the right terms of the features the husband is but me I'm good in hands on :-). I am so tempted to get the D7000 DSLR Camera Kit with extra extra lenses, lol. I keep thinking and even dreams about it! But i am not asking it for the husband though i really wanted to get it for my self so i am saving for it right now and will see it is just a matter of when but soon enough! He said i can still keep the old Nikon digital SLR! I can't wait to put my photography into the next level!

My husband got us some direct tv packages for the house and I thought I wouldn’t be using them too much. He loves football which is why he got them in the first place but as it turns out I’m watching BRAVO all the time now – so much so he can’t get a word in edgewise! I love that show Millionaire Matchmaker because the people on it are so over the top. It amazes me that anyone in this world gets married when there are so many crazies out there trying to get a date – I don’t understand how some of them don’t see how ridiculously absurd they are when it comes to meeting members of the opposite sex. It reminds me how hard datingalways was and how glad I am that I’m married but you know, it’s good for a laugh. My husband doesn’t get it and just begs me to watch the games but I always tell him I want to see who they pick for the master date!

T'was late Sunday he took me to a closed by town where the scenery is awesome he said i can take pictures whatever i want but sadly we were caught by darkness and this was the last two minute sunset and trying to chased it before it's too late. I logged onto www.newyorkenergyrates.com and got a great energy rate for our cabin in upstate New York. We like to spend holidays up there and get away from the city. It is on an apple farm. Good thing that we got a good energy rate, because when we were up there this weekend we had to blast the heat. When they said that there was going to be a snowstorm, they weren’t kidding. There was not just a snowstorm, but I felt like there was blizzard!! It was bone chilling cold and we were digging ourselves out of three feet of snow that fell over a twelve hour period. I love snow, I think it is beautiful, but sometimes it can be too much. It was nice to be in a cozy cabin while it was so cold outside. We got some much needed R and R. I am hoping that next time we head up there that we won’t get caught up in the snow storm!

Taking pictures gives me a sense of fulfillment. When I get to capture shots especially those stolen and candid ones, it gives me joy and satisfaction. My love for photography didn't came till recently though. It was my younger sister who was always behind the lenses. As I went here in the States, I made sure to have a couple of nice and decent digital cameras, one for the husband and one for me. But then it's not practical to have several so we opted to buy a new one, a SLR. It's quite expensive but really worth it. I'd like to think it's one of our good buys last year.

Having my SLR now, I can do whatever I want with pictures. Flowers are usually my subject because to me they are like the most beautiful ladies in the planet. Scenery and foodie as well. They speak so much without words. I'd like to take my photography to the next level. Those of people and portraits maybe. I want to take a short course to learn more about this. Hoping to learn more techniques and acquire better skills in taking pictures. Just loving every bit of it!

Shopping without going to shops

That's basically how we describe online shopping. It allows us to shop whatever we want, whenever, wherever! For as long as we have an Internet, limitless options and possibilities are within reach. Your fingers can do the whole job for you. I never really know about online shopping until I came here in the States 6 years ago. The husband introduced me to it but at first I was so skeptical and not quite sure about such a thing. You know, there were so many doubts and what ifs. But then I tried and since then, I usually just shop online than wait in lines and tire myself going to the mall. Speaking of, the office I think need new chairs for tax time is fast approaching. As soon as the year starts, the office becomes so busy and people are all over the place. Would probably need some canvas sling chair for the lobby and a faux candle chandelier for a cozier feel. Then maybe some glass replacement shades too and other fixtures to compliment the entire new look of the office. Pretty sure they'll get it all through online buying. A wide range of choices, more deals and discounts, and less hassle for shoppers.

It would be very nice to visit my dad in-law to this website for him to see what am browsing right now. He just did us put the new wall papers two weeks ago so i have to share him this! Well, got to go. Enjoy your weekend everyone! And don't forget to take pictures. Winks!

A Ladybug

Just like many people i am fond of ladybugs and i love them because of their colorful, spotted appearance. It's the only bug i like to get inside my house and i wouldn't harm it in any reason, lol. They are harmless also unlike others bugs around ewww, gross! I am just fascinated of how pretty they are. The first time i laid eyes on this plant i knew i would get amazed by it! First impression i said.. WOW! ohh emm gee what's is this thing?? so so weird and creepy then i saw the name up top it's a cactus family and it belong to genus plant! Named euphorbia lactea is very diverse species of plant generally from tropical Asia, mainly in India. As you noticed it looks like dragon bones spiny ridges kinda way and has a candle smooth skin texture. I learned that all parts of the plant is poisonous milky latex. It is use as a medicinal thing in India but it is widely grown as an ornamental plant. For me it is creepy at the same cool in so many levels. Wink!

It's a season of marigold's ya'll. I see this plant everywhere from there garden to mine, lol. They have several colors you can find i love this dark yellowish almost orange petals. I planted several of them in my front yard and they are blooming out like crazy and as well it attracts butterflies that's one thing i like about the plant also and they tolerate heat from the sun all day long. if you having a hard time to plant flowers that will last longer than other plant you could think marigolds are best stuff to plant in your flower bed because they're not just gorgeous yet they are less maintenance.

Why i said it's one of a kind is because believe it or not these two pink and red roses is a same plant bush i mean a plant! This is unusual to grow two different colors in one bush! Over the years I can't even think of all of the house plants that I've bought, tried to take care of and killed some way or another. It's like no matter what I do and what directions I follow that come with the plant, I just can't seem to keep any of my house plants alive. I'm pretty good at growing things outside, but any houseplant in my home doesn't stand any real chance. Well, I still love the look of them, so I decided to try and get some fake but real looking house plants.

I went online to see what kind of plants would look the most realistic because I know even less about fake house plants than real house plants. While I was looking up some information on artificlal houseplants, I ran across a link for ClearWirelessinternet.com. Once I read through it some, I decided to sign up for oen of the internet packages on there for use in my home.

I decided that a silk house plant would look way more realistic than a plastic house plant, like I was considering beforehand.

They're quite large as big as my head actually. The plant family have several hundred of species known as hibiscus, sorrel, and flor de Jamaica, or less widely known as rosemallow. They grow to tropical weather or warm temperature through out the world. This hibiscus flower is the largest i've ever incounter and it is quite neat and cool. This commonly called in Philippines as Gumamela plant it can be use as herbal stuff for many uses.

I decided that it was about time to give my home office a green makeover. I've had the same set up for years and that's where I always work from, so I figured that I owed it to myself. I've been researching all kinds of things to figure out what exactly I can do in my small office to lessen my carbon footprint in my home and life.

I did most of my research online and even though I didn't' intend to sign up for another energy plan, that's what I ended up doing. First time I've seen this beautiful plant. It is too obvious to see the origin of it base on the look as it's heart shape blooms with a protruding tip at the base of the heart. Actually they two colors of this bleeding hearts plant, pink and white. I so love these photos i feel like a professional photographer as if. haha! Well these are one of the pictures that to be proud of. They said it looks like a post card and i agree with theme. I took it just this winter season when we had a hard snow in the mid January. We took a joy ride and went close to Mounteagle where you can really see the beautiful scenery up the mountain but thus time the mountain is hardly been sighted because of heavy snows that blanketed on trees. Weird and Scary isn't it? This was taken last spring season on our front of the house. It was Late 5 afternoon the sky started to form like these! Husband hurriedly call me and he said look at the freaking sky go get the camera so i hastily grabbed the digi cam and we took couple of shots! It was so overwhelming to see the forming clouds we really thought we are getting hit by bad thunderstorms that day thank God it was blown away by the wind and start to clear up the dark sky.

Rotten Woods

Winter was over and i am so glad with it! am not a very big fan of winter season though the only thing i love about winter is the snow. This year we had several snow days and we all enjoyed it we got the chance to play outside and have memories to keep. These pictures above is one i considered moments to remember i just woke up and put the blinds up and it caught my attention instantly, i think this is on the 3rd day of 8" snow week we had last January. Thought it is neat and cool looking thing a pile of rotten woods that is blanketed with powdery snow. I guess those will be our last time feeling the snow because when we move to Florida definitely they don't have the beauty of winter there! But it's ok I'll live at least i have the memoirs! lol.

A Dandelion

Can help to mind this flower called it dandelion we have plenty of this in our yards, although dandelions are considered as weeds family but still it is a pretty little flowers that grows everywhere! Their lifespan are biennial or short-lived perennials that release seeds all summer. Many of them germinate and grow into rosettes before winter. Others also survive the winter to germinate in early spring. In fall, mature plants have sent out all of their seeds and stopped blooming. Most typically their migration is from spring to summer season. So that's the life cycle of this beautiful yellow flower.

Grieving and Depression

A survey of men and women between the ages of 70 and 79 shows that some widows and widowers experience high levels of depressive symptoms up to two years after the loss of their spouse. Those taking part in the study were divided into six groups, based on the amount of time that had passed since the death of their spouse. A smile is produced by a muscular contraction in which the eyes brighten and the corners of the mouth curve slightly upward expressing satisfaction. During the first few weeks after birth, a baby smiles, and this, of course, delights the proud new parents. These early smiles are known as reflex, or involuntary, smiles. Experts explain that this kind of smile appears often during dreaming and seems to be related to internal feelings and activity of the central nervous system. Even when we are adults, this reflex smile may still occur after a meal or while we are listening to music.

From about six weeks of age, however, a baby smiles in response to a face or a voice. A ‘social smile’—a voluntary, conscious smile—cheers us up, whether we are babies or adults. It is said that such a smile even has a positive influence on our physical health. According to speech therapists Mirtha Manno and Rubén Delauro, who manage a self-help clinic called Smiling and Health, the mere gesture of smiling produces an electrical stimulus that affects the pituitary gland. This gland, in turn, releases endorphins, chemical substances in the brain that make us feel good.

Another important reason for smiling is the positive effect it has on others. I was watching television the other day on sports channel and they featured some extreme sports including the paintballing game. Oh it look so much fun! I wish to try that one day with my husband and couple of friends. Although whoever participated in the game surely will get dirty obviously yet it so much exciting going on with them. Fats, refined sugars, and salt are best consumed in moderation. Drink plenty of water. Avoid caffeinated beverages, as well as foods containing preservatives and additives (such as artificial colorings and flavorings). Starch, clay, and other nonedible substances can cause malnutrition and toxicity.

● Beware of possible environmental hazards, such as overexposure to X-rays and harmful chemicals. Limit use of sprays and other household substances. Do not become overheated because of exposure to excessive temperatures or overexercise. Avoid prolonged standing and overexertion. Use proper seat belt positioning.

Husband surprised me a pretty dress! He knows my weakness and he saw me browsing over my online store couple days ago and sighted that i was with this dress. I mentioned that it's kinda cute and i like the prints even though it's pretty big printed thing going on haha! Then a day later he said he ordered the dress for me. He is so sweet hehe! I hardly go out shopping because i don't know how to drive yet so i just check online what's new here and there. Just waiting to arrive the dress really soon.

I have nothing much to update here honestly, due to multiple blogs i have can't help to skip this blog from my other that is kind of productive lately. As much as i wanted to write here but my thoughts are limited haha. I admit before i can think of many things to put into writings and post it easily, but recently i can not think of any... huhuhu! i guess i need to read more books helps my brain works. But my laziness is always ahead of me, being pregnant is hard in so many ways. I can't seat long enough in front of my computer because butt is complaining. That's why i am guilty sometimes if only a blog can complaint of ignoring her... it probably did long time ago!

Marriage Scam

More than 3,000 South African women have been tricked into getting "married," reports the Sowetan newspaper of Johannesburg. In one scam, women sign what they think is a job contract, but they are actually signing a marriage certificate. The certificate qualifies the foreign "bridegroom" for permanent residence in the country. The "bride" may discover the deceit only when she applies to replace lost identification documents and finds she has been given a different surname or when she goes to register her marriage on her real wedding day and learns that she is listed as already married! Getting the "marriage" annulled can be complicated. Still, about 2,000 of the women have successfully canceled their unwitting marriages. To fight the scam, a new law requires foreign spouses to wait five years before applying for permanent residency.
